Research

In the period July 2015 to December 2016, the Avogadro Observatory, together with several other Italian amateur observatories, was involved in a research program lead by the Siena University originally intended for asteroids study but that lead also to the discovery of a large number of variable stars. The program results have been summarised in the Journal of AAVSO Volume 45 Num. 2 – 2017, pag. 219.

The above links lead to pages for the single stars with a brief description the references to the International Variable Star Index and few other information.
