GSC-00777-00241
May 7, 2020A month-long work was necessary to complete the registration of this very tough variable system!. This EA system, GSC 00777-00241, located in the constellation of Gemini has been initially discovered on December 16 of 2015. It took us a long time to census this star also because we was unable to “capture” a complete primary minimum to fix the epoch. The star has been registered at the AAVSO VSX database on 26th January 2016. The following is the correctly phased light curve:

This research was the second one performed during the collaboration of the Avogadro Observatory with the Siena University Observatory (A. Marchini, R. Papini and F. Salvaggio). The EA (Eclipse Algol type) GSC 00777-00241 variable star magnitude varies between 14.09 and 14.84 CV, the secondary reaches 14.26 CV.
